God has given us promises for every situation, and we are told in 2 Corinthians 1:20 that God's promises are trustworthy. There's no better way to start your day, than by praying and confessing the Word of God.
God's promises are for all who believe. The world cannot claim them. To non-believers, the Bible is a bunch paper with dead words. They can read it until they turn blue, but, if they do not believe what it says and receive Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives, these promises will be of no benefit. To the confessing believer, the Word becomes alive; it is our salvation, healing, deliverance, freedom, protection, victory, joy, peace, abundance, etc. (Hebrews 4:12)
